Sitting, tapping my fingers, waiting
I just finished my 2010 taxes. Done. Money will be in my account in 8-14 days.
I love this day.
I wait for this day all year. The day that our very las tax document comes in and I can do the taxes.
People avoid taxes. I grew up thinking it must be the most horrible thing in the world because my dad avoided like the plague and then rushed on April 14th. I can remember riding in the back...

My boys are talking about “ship parts”.
I do not hear “ship” when they say “ship parts”.
This is what I heard, not what they said:
Jake: I got a ton of points to buy shit parts
Eli: how many shit parts do you want?
Jake: I don’t know. There are a lot of different shit parts.
Eli: Tell me when you’re there. I want to look at the shit...
How does he know?
How does my cat know exactly where I DO NOT want him to lay? Why must he lay on the puzzle table? Okay, maybe because it’s a table and it is near the window. But when I move all of the random puzzle pieces to the other side of the table, away from the window…. Why does he go over to that side and lay on them anyway????
